ACHIA NSW recognises the strength and insight that Aboriginal people with lived experience bring to the conversation around housing reform and solutions. As the peak body for Aboriginal Community Housing Providers in NSW, we are committed to amplifying these voices and creating meaningful opportunities for participation, leadership, and influence across the housing sector.

We strongly encourage the inclusion of lived experience perspectives in all forums, ensuring that Aboriginal people with experience of housing vulnerability are supported to share their stories and shape the policies and programs that affect their lives. Through our work, we promote personal and professional development, leadership pathways, and culturally safe spaces for Aboriginal voices to be heard and respected.

Applications close Friday 8 August 2025 and registrations are through the link below.

Acknowledgement of Country

ACHIA NSW acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we live, work and play on. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture, and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders across this beautiful nation. These lands were never ceded; it always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands.
