The 2026 Australian Community Housing National Awards are open for nominations, providing an opportunity to recognise outstanding people, organisations, projects and partnerships from across the community housing sector.

There are four award streams covering CHP Excellence, Development, Individual Excellence and Collaboration, with categories recognising everything from tenant leadership and community impact to housing development, rising stars, industry leadership and strong sector partnerships.

The ACHIA NSW 2026 Caucus was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the incredible people and organisations making a difference across Aboriginal community housing in NSW.

  • Awabakal Limited — acknowledged and rewarded for Outstanding Sector Partnership

The ACHIA Awards recognised the leadership, commitment and impact that exists across our sector. Now, we want to see that recognition continue.

Acknowledgement of Country

ACHIA NSW acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land we live, work and play on. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture, and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders across this beautiful nation. These lands were never ceded; it always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands.
